We offer the capability to design or customize a reverse genetics system tailored to your specific virus, giving you the ability to produce both wild-type virus stocks and derivative products such as reporter viruses, molecularly tagged viruses and custom mutants. We can also expand the volume of your virus strain from a seed stock.
Additionally, our industry-leading quality control processes can be adapted to meet your unique requirements. We can produce up to 5 liters of virus per production run, and tailor the purification/concentration method to your needs. Statement on Custom Mutant and Gain of Function Work
Custom mutants: We will not produce custom mutant virus stocks for clients without proof that production of the mutants has been approved by the client's Institutional Biosafety Committee or equivalent body.
Gain of Function work: We will not perform any Gain-of-Function research at Advanced Virology Inc., or produce custom virus stocks for clients to use in Gain-of-Function studies.
