Advanced Virology Awarded ACX Grant to Create A Next Generation Vaccine Manufacturing Platform

Scientist behind beakers

Advanced Virology is proud to share that we have been awarded a $50,000 grant through ACX Grants 2025, a program funded by the ACX community and administered through the nonprofit Manifold. We are honored to be included among this year’s recipients.

This grant will support the development of a rapid, scalable and iterative platform for producing whole virus, recombinant, and subunit vaccines against seasonal influenza virus, yellow fever virus, and other viral pathogens.

How the Funding Will Be Used

This grant will be used to purchase the reagents and supplies needed to engineer and test the first generation of influenza and yellow fever production cell lines. Experiments will include evaluating viral yields, genome fidelity, and the ability to scale to vaccine manufacturing volumes.

Looking Ahead

We are grateful to ACX Grants, Manifold, and the ACX community for supporting this work. By advancing a faster and more reliable vaccine manufacturing platform, Advanced Virology aims to strengthen global pandemic preparedness and improve the speed and quality of vaccine production.
